Hub Industrial & Trading Estate (HITE)
Hub, Tehsil of District Lasbela is a boarder area of the province of Balochistan connected with Karachi District of province of Sindh. In mid-seventies, Hub was identified as a suitable place for establishment of industrial projects because of its proximity to the port city of Karachi, ideal law & order conditions, low price of land, lucrative fiscal incentives and concessions available at that time, availability of water which a scarce commodity in Karachi and high standard of services offered by the Government of Balochistan to the entrepreneurs.

Marble City Gaddani (MCG)
Balochistan, the land of unexplored natural reserves is rich with variety of Marble , Granite & Onyx deposits. However these reserves have neither been mapped properly nor explored, therefore proper benefit could not be drawn till now. Mining techniques used result in upto 70% loss during mining and 40% of the extracted stones are lost during processing. Only 15% of the extracted marble/ granite remain available for commercial sales.

Winder Industrial & Trading Estate (WITE)
In order to explore the industrialization in other Tehsils of District Lasbela, Balochistan which action is compatible to the functions assigned to this Authority and to enable the prospective entrepreneurs to avail the rural incentives allowed by Government of Pakistan to the entire province of Balochistan (except Hub chowki), in the year 1990 the site in front of KESC Grid station at Tehsil Winder was selected for establishment of Winder Industrial Trading Estate.

Special Industrial Zone (SIZ - Winder)
The Government of Pakistan, Board of Investment in the yea 1996 announced establishment of SIZs at 12 placed in the country. A very lucrative package comprising of various fiscal incentives and concessions was assigned to these zones to attract investment. In the province of Balochistan this zone was decided to be established at Winder. Since these incentives and concessions were subjected to opening of LC by the prospective unit by November, 1996 and operation of unit before 30th June, 1999 therefore very limited industrialization was made in this zone.

Uthal Industrial Estate (UIE)
In the year Pakistan signed an MOU with IRO Iran for establishment of Textile Composite Unit in various placed in the province of Balochistan. Lasbela Textile Mill established at Uthal Industrial Estate was one of the project established in joint venture of both countries. This was a huge project comprising of 102 acres of land and become a base for establishment of Uthal Industrial Estate. Originally this industrial estate was initiated by the Industries & Commerce Department, Government of Balochistan under the supervision of Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Balochistan; however after establishment of Lasbela Industrial Estates Development Authority, the control of Uthal Industrial Estate was assigned to this Authority.

Uthal Industrial Estate Phase-II (UIE Phease-II)
Establishment of Deep Sea Port at Gwadar and construction of Coastal Highway linking futuristic international city of Gwadar with District Lasbela & Karachi were the mega project executed in the province of Balochistan. It was felt that the development of basic infrastructure at Gwadar will take considerable time whereas the sea port seems to commence operation in the year 2004 therefore Establishment of Uthal Industrial Estate (Phase-II) was proposed by LIEDA at the prime location of zero point so as to provide developed industrial plots to expected processing units.
